March Update
Figureworld has been on the calendar for over a month now and the Basement Team have been hard at work making the arrangements for the day.
So you can keep up with the information about the show find links to Maelstrom Games a section has been created on the The Basement Webzine, (http://www.tbfm.co.uk) though if you require any information please contact us by clicking figureworld@tbforum.co.uk.
There's lots of great activities are being planned for the day, with the main aim at the moment to provide adequate display area for visitors, remember all are welcome and we are providing space for all the modellers who attend to display what models you bring along, in fact we are relying on you to do that to make the day a success, plans for photographing all the models on display and then putting this gallery on line soon after the day are also in the planning stage.
One of our team is busy organising demo's by some of the country's top modellers, these will be happening on the day in a special area throughout the day, more on who or what is being demoed next time.
We are asking that any organisation who wish to display at the event as a club to make contact with us at the following email address figureworld@tbforum.co.uk, space will be provided as a block for any club/organisation wishing to do this. Some clubs have already booked their place with us again more on this in a later announcement.
The venues building work continues apace and pictures can be seen on Maelstroms Games website in their Events forum, with everything in place well before the day. (http://events.maelstromgames.co.uk/p...opic.php?id=11)
Finally later in the year, before the event Basement Forum members will be demoing in Maelstrom Games Store to promote the event, Dates are in the process of being finalised, we will keep you informed of the dates as they are agreed.
