Filming Miniatures / HD Video Test on youtube

So I got a cannon EOS D7 for xmas. I was excited to find out that it can also take short HD videos! Of course I could not resist... so i set up one of the Kingdom Death miniatures in the light box on this little rotating display base i have.

I definitely need to re-shoot it with more light and the music is just an audio track youtube has built into it, so there is no post production.

Anyway, let me know what you think! Or if someone has some more experience filming mini's I'd love to get some advice on it.

Thanks!

You need to enable HD in order to get the HD playback.

The amount of light you need is actually a bit shocking. I suppose if i keep experimenting and find success, I'd be happy to share my setup if other people would like to try filming their own stuff.

I think the cheapest HD camera on the market is the HD FLIP. But im pretty sure it's lens is too crappy for this!

Could be wrong tho.
