i have never use sculpey so have no idea. fimo, i have used, however.
if you are gonna bake it, any kind of metal should be ok. working over an armature, i find that it doesn\'t stuck to it. use a thin layer of greenstuff over the armature to help it bond. try not to over cook/burn it. if you over cook, it will start to crack. you can also boil it to cure it - this will stop overcooking. i think shawnrl told me that last one
for dollies, i use copper wire from cabling, you can get off cuts from whenever anyone does any wiring (at work etc) and it\'s a decent thickness. it\'s fairly rigid but can be bent and also flattened (useful for helping the gs/fimo stick)
