Well finally actually finished something.
This was my entry to the Something WYRD contest.
Overall I think it is an ok job. Has it\'s flaws (which I am looking forward to being told ALL about).

EDIT: I forgot to thank Supervike who very kindly sent me this (plus another) figure so that I could enter the comp; as I did not have any WYRD figures at that point. (I have got more now Supervike!).

Wow, well done thats a great piece. I tried to find something I didn\'t like but to no avail. Hair maybe could have more contrast, and the eyes are a little bit starring, Great job

Unfortunately when I got to the eyes I realised my eyes are completely F%$#ed!
Where I used to be able to see what I was doing, I eneded up just randomly stabbing at the eyes with my (what seemed to be size 10) brush.

I now have one of those head visor magnifying things to help with those fiddly bits (so no excuse next time!).

I am really liking those greens, the highlights are fantastic. I can see what you mean about the eyes, but they seem okay anyways.

The simple, yet appealing base is also a great feature.

Her blonde hair is really great, I find it\'s the hardest colour to paint.

Lastly, the skin-tones on the face are very nice, but the chest isn\'t as well-executed.

Thanks for that. Yeah the chest is a complete balls up really. As was pointed out to me over at WYRD I highlighted the bottom of the breasts almost as much as the face! I was probably distracted at the time

an easy way to sort that is to give the top of the cheak bones, the nose and top of the forhead a white glaze. (adding hotspots of light)

Nice one DrEvilmonki, she has a lot of Character The metallics and clothes are very nice indeed. The face is a weaker point, but overall that is a very impressive paintjob indeed. V&C performed
