Finally I have a job!

Met up with some friends of mine who have just got back to france from england, on an extended holiday while their daughter is on school holiday, and we were talking, and it got to work, and they suddenly thought, oh, we have someone who might have some for you.

So, one phone call later, I have 4 roofing jobs, 6 bathrooms, painting a house and a heap more stuff all lined up one after the other, and the guy (wayne, whos welsh, but I dont hold it against him) has offered to take me to spain for 7 weeks to paint a 74 meter super yacht.

Whooohoooo.

Eh, you can have those.

This weekend I was sitting up on my roof replacing some shingles, 104 degrees F, soaking wet from humidity and sweat, getting a sunburn almost instantly, the shingles burning through my jeans, and I remembered exactly why I gave up the great money in construction to go back to school and live as a penniless student all those years ago.

It\'s too friggin\' hot here for that crap.
So cheers for finding a job, but better you than me.lol

Hahaha, its not that bad here once you get used to it, and mind, being a kiwi I am well used to wearing jandles (samoan safety boots), singlets and short shorts, with a big wide brim hat, so Im ok there.

Got to drive a tractor today, which shocked my boss that I even knew how to turn the thing on.

Im really starting to sound like a hick now arent I

But apparently in spain, we get to live in the same building as all the boat crew, and theres the guys who run the boat, and then a group of people who go by the name \"screwadresses\"
