thank you all for your comments and advice on this miniature... I\'ve updated the picture of the completed mini, sprayed with varnish and all....

It\'s been a bit of a challenge doing it ... espically trying to nail down a heavy all-metal figure to the base but I am rather pleased with the effect

This looks great !!! nice job on the robe, and the horse looks really nice too. I\'d say her hair are too light but that would be beeing picky. can\'t wait to see the finnished mini.

This looks great so far! The roses are a fabulous idea! Can\'t wait to see the finished product.

I do understand though. It can be a real beitch when you lose inspiration. I find it happens in particular after I\'ve gotten a really good idea. It\'s either like it saps something out of you or the really great idea (ie - the roses) makes it hard to get psyched up about the rest. I guess all lyou can really do is \"slog\" through the rest.

It IS looking really good though! The daiphanous gown looks great :wow:

I love it. The multicolored roses look good, but then again, I like bright, lively colors. I think the changes you\'ve made all came out very well. :wow:

thanks for your observations.... I did some toning down of the highlighting on her hair but not much cos I like the original look on the box picture...

Thanks Dauber.... glad you liked it.... I was kinda worried that the roses would look too bright and was going to change the colours, but was informed by a friend that there are indeed roses with that perculiar shade of pink....

well I\'ll say it once again, it looks awsome !!! Got a ten from me, hop it ends up in the top ten.
And I certainly hope that you can find pink roses, because \'rose\' means pink in french
