So for years and years I've been for someone to actually propose marriage via this forum. Haven't seen it done yet - if I've missed it, well, whatever. I'm doing this anyway.
So, I've been with Cheryll for ~12 years now. We live together. We have a son (oh, by the way, if any of you guys remember me, I'm a father now). I don't think I'll ever want a girlfriend other than her. Seems like I'm pretty good at decisions: She was my first girlfriend ever and we have never seen other people - not romantically, anyway.
So, I see no reason not to spend the rest of my life with her, too.
I would prefer the benefits that come with having this agreement recognized by the state, so what i am saying is that I would very much like to marry her.
For a real proposal I have to actually address her, I guess, so: Cheryll, I feel we should marry. Would you like to marry me, too?
Of course her answer isn't really important - I know she wants a celtic wedding and I would have to ask her father, i think - but this is one part I am more than happy to modernize.
Of course she won't read this - she's not active here anymore, and neither am I. But I have done my dues and fully realized the potential this forum has.
Oh, and today is my birthday party, too, which means all my friends will be here in a few minutes. To quote Octodad: "Nobody suspects a thing".
