Finished D&D Paladin (Critiques Welcome)

Hey ladies and gents! Hope you're doing well this evening. I wanted to post one of my latest commissions for a D&D character. This particular miniature is from Confrontation I believe. I never had a chance to play that game, so please forgive my ignorance. I love Rakham's models though. Absolutely beautiful sculpts!

It's a bit difficult to tell in the photos, but I mixed some gloss varnish into my white paints to give the armour an enameled appearance.

I hope you like! Please let me know what you think, how I can improve, and thank you for taking the time to look.

I paint my thumb.
The skull on the base seems out of place imo, it looks like it came our from under his robe or something, lol. Seriously tho, looking nice, I love the red. That white would need a lot more shading, especially if it's supposed too look like metal. Sword is a bit rough too.

Great mini, nice color choices! A couple of things I can suggest to improve would be using cold colors in your shadows and warm colors in your highlights. Adding some dark blue or purple to the shadows of the cloak can help create more depth. Also shading the metallics with black or any other dark color in a NMM fashion can also build more interest in the metallics. Great job, keep it up :)
