Finished grymn

hi,
You may have seen this project coming together in the WIP forums and it is finally finished.My first squad (of anything) and my first display base.It took me quite a while but i am very happy with the result.What do you think ??

Hiya James.

Yup, i think you have improved over the project and I do really like the Grymms/

I think the leader is the best of the bunch. A few things that I think would help your painting are adding more contrast...more light and shade. Blacklining (that is not for everyone, but is a good technique to help emphasize low contrast areas) and general neatness. Some of the armor seems to have a bit of the lighter color on them.

The display base is a nice touch, and looked like it was fun to build. The only thing I\'d suggest on that would be to have the figures physically closer to each other, making the base smaller and a bit more intimate. Its not as \'realistic\' to have a smaller base, but I think it has a bigger impact, visually.

The female (IMO) is possible the best painted of the characters, she looks more defined and has darker areas which really help.

The whole lot as a squad looks really cool though!

very good job man... i agree with matty the lady is the best. i would however reccomend cutting the high grass just a bit. other than that good job.

Very neat work! I haven\'t seen many grymm squads, just single figures, so its nice to see someone do a bunch up together.

They have a very consistent look, which is good. The armour pieces and flesh both look nice. I think the fabric is probably the weakest aspect but its by no means awful or anything.

Overall I like their worn look. They look like actual fighters rather than gear-models in a catalouge.

going by scores alone the woman is the best but i agree about the cloth.I really struggled to get enough contrast and also get it looking smooth.
