Finn\'s crap software.....

This is copied from an another thread:

Hilarious piece of software..!

I bought this translator from a supermarket (Lidl) bargain bin. It cost me very little but it has given me enormous enjoyment. It is so totally random, as to be utterly useless. I was amazed at how understandable \'my\' translation of the Rackham page was.

Gonna have to start a thread to test it....

Okay!!

Test Finn\'s almighty translator!
(any resulting global conflicts are not the responsibility of this person [Finn17])

Surely the most execrable piece of software since \'Kind words\' (that might take some Amiga fans back a bit)

Send me a phrase and by the power of my almighty translator I will convert it into a language of your choice (as long as it\'s Eng, Fr, Span, It, Ger or Port).

Why spend the best years of your life studying modern foreign languages at school when all you need etc...

CMON put it to the test......lol

Hmmm, lets see - something sutable to be translated - need a good movie line here I think - got it - John Wayne from \"Big Jake\" -

You can call me Jacob, you can call me Jake, you can call me a dirty rotten son of a bitch, but if you ever call me daddy again I\'m gonna finish this fight.

:innocent:

Ok, that gives me, in French:

Vous pouvez m\'appeler Jacob, vous pouvez m\'appeler Jake, vous pouvez m\'appeler un fils pourri sale d\'une garce, mais si vous m\'appelez jamais encore papa que je vais finir cette bagarre.

In German:

Sie können mich Jacob rufen, Sie können mich Jake rufen, Sie können mich einem schmutzigen verfaulten Sohn einer Hündin rufen, aber wenn Sie mich wieder je Vati rufen, bin ich gonna-Ende dieser Kampf.

That could be funny???? That could have started world war 3???

Tell me what out put you would like....

We enter the word Banjo into finn\'s magic translator. we ask for an output in Spanish and we get:

......el banjo!!!!

I hope that really resolves your dilemma once and for all!

Any other insoluble problems Chrispy - just you get in touch!!lol

\"size of a cow\"!!!

Bugger! Sorry (soz) about that!

I have entered the appropriate phrase, I have set phasers on \'Portugese\' and we get:

Você pode me chamar o Jacob, você pode me chamar Jake, você pode me chamar um filho podre sujo de uma cadela, mas se você já me chama novamente papai que eu vou terminar esta briga.

HaHa! It\'s all totally obvious now isn\'t it?

I think it really is just called a banjo in Spanish . . (not an error) Some languages just don\'t have words for everything.

Apparently English has the most words of all the languages so if it can\'t be decribed in English then . . . well . . . uh . . .never mind . . . :D

Finn...an idea

Maybe, now you\'ve got the French translation you should feed that through for a German translation and then feed THAT through for a Spanish translation...then feed back through to English! Could you do that? That would be the ULTIMATE test! lol

I often use a web site called Babelfish (all praise Douglas Adams) to translate the Japanese pages that I look at. It can translate phrases or even entire web pages and can be found at...

http://world.altavista.com/

I also use it to make funny and/or crap translations by turning a phrase into Japanese and then turning it back into English. With the John Wayne quote I got...

\'As for you it is possible and/or my this it fights the father and it calls me to call the son who as for you who can call me who can call me the Jake you of the Jacob if me the female dog became dirty and rots for the second time it is end of the gonna.\'

John Wayne Japanese style! lol

It also handles Chinese.

\'You can tell me Jacob, you can tell me Jake, you can tell me the bitch one dirty rotten son, but if you ever tells me again daddy I completes this fight. \'

Yes he does! lol

ok got one:
An interior convulsion, producing a distortion of the features and accompanied by inarticulate noises. It is infectious and, though intermittent, incurable. What is it?

Now translate it to french, from french to german, from german to spanish and back to english. Let\'s see what we have then :D

Oh and the answer to the riddle above is \"laughter\" :)

Right then....

OK! I have polished up the dylithium crystals...

Here we go..

English:

An interior convulsion, producing a distortion of the features and accompanied by inarticulate noises. It is infectious and, though intermittent, incurable. What is it?

French:

Un bouleversement intérieur, produire une distorsion des traits et a accompagné par les bruits inarticulés. C\'est infectieux et, pourtant intermittent, incurable. Qu\'est-ce que c\'est?

German:

Ein innerer Umsturz, eine Verrenkung der Züge zu produzieren und hat durch den undeutlichen Lärm. Dies ist infektiös und, dennoch intermittierend, unheilbar. Was ist das?

Italian:

Un sovvertimento interno di produrre una slogatura dei treni e ha attraverso il rumore indistinto. Questo è infettivo e, tuttavia intermittente, incurabile. Cosa è questo?

And back to English....

An inside subversion to produce a dislocation of the trains and it has through the indistinct noise. This is infectious and, nevertheless intermittent, incurable. What this is it?

HEY! That\'s not bad for $15

LIDL\'s rock:D:bouncy::D
