Our own beer has been complete shite for sooooo long! That\'s what made us so fond of imported stuff. Now, Swedish beer has become better and some small breweries have started to pop up with some really decent beers.

Technically there is a resolution to the quest. The peeps that did the Animated Hobbit did the Animated Return of the King. Is it any good? I don\'t know, I have not watched it yet. Maybe I will someday, as I have it on DVD.

Technically there is an end to the quest because Tolkein wrote one.

Lots of mini- and microbreweries are cropping up...even Carlsberg is making small runs of specialty beers (in 0.7 liter bottles..at 5 times the price of a regular beer...but what great stuff...last years Honey Ale...you could taste the honey and the heather (lyng) that it was made from...wonderful!!!!).

And, of course, there is the world\'s premium porter....Limfjords Porter, from Thisted Brewery in Jutland...taste the tarred hemp from the harbor and the salt wind from the sea...(end commercial)

That is true. I would of liked to have seen Bakshi\'s version of ROTK.

The Animated versions are very \'childish\', but I have to admit, they are kind of fun to watch. They were done by the Rankin/Bass company (which I believe did many of the \'christmas\' specials like Frosty the Snowman). And they do some very weird singing in it.. Like the Orcs singing \"where theres a whip *crack* theres a way\" and \"Frodo of the nine fingers...and the RING OF DOOOOOOM\"

But the best part has to be John Huston doing the voice of Gandalf. I admit that I have a bit of nostalgia watching them, because when I first saw them years and years ago, I was desperate for anything to do with LOTR (having read the books several times)

That ork song has stuck in my head for years.
My brother used to have the Rankin/Bass ROTK calendar. The art is actually very nice in stills.
It was still sort of what you\'d expect if Disney tried to do an animated LOTR with Mickey as Frodo.
