Fire Prism - update concept and painted pics

Had the cam out and i thought i take a pic of this wip, about 4 hrs work, still need to glue and prime the rest of it :mrgreen: so not too sure when it will be done

I like it, pretty nice job. Are you going to do another transition further along the hull or will the remainder be black?

rite, where i am now. stripped the hull and am now repainting it, applied first few layers, it now looks like this

the concept for it was this

id love to be able to define the feathers as well as they are on this but am not entirely sure how to go about doing that am goin to try tp intergrating the shape and the structure of each feather with the next few layers (the larger the feather the more detail) hopefully my patients will hold out and it will look good :-? other issue iv got is which way to blend the colours, my first thought is to do them like flames, blend from the bottom up (red to white) but to really define the feathers i think i may need to go from the middle out. First major freehand work so i could really do with some advice
(also the silver lines u can see is the pencil lines from when i drew it out, hopefully they will hve been painted over by the time am finished)

next Craftworld Symbol - drew this out yesterday, 3 hrs painting 2day, by eye theirs not alot i can see that needs too much blending, although this pic suggests that the bottom of the flames could have a smoother gradient into the middle, i may go over this 2morro although i may leave them as they are because real flames do have a stong defintion between the diff colours in the flame

I thought the first one had some promise but the second one will also look good. Loike the craft world symbol thing as well. The color scheme should look very striking.

Real nice, I like it!!

I am also looking for a cool \"freehand\" for my Eldar Falcon... it is painted in kinda light grey, and highlighted to white.

I play Biel Tan, and for this I should do the usual things but... thats kinda boring ^^

I like the idea! really nice. would love to see it painted... I wonde how it would be if the inner fethers where a bit more.. White:ish, and slowly turning to being a bit more red. plz try it.. I think it would be great
