first article on my site: preparing a mini

A lot of people asked me how I do certain things, so I decided to start writing a serie of articles on which techniques and tools I use. I started out with the beginning: how I prepare a mini before starting to paint on it.

Before reading I should say the article contains the techniques I use, so others may work better but this is just a list of how I do it. Therefore, this articles are of beginner level, but some more experienced painters might catch up some useful tips.

When I have written some more articles, I might compile them into one big article for CMON... not sure yet.

I like seeing \"how to\" articles and yours is very well done. A few more pictures would be nice.

It will be interesting to follow a series of your articles.

Compiling them into a CMON article would be a good idea as well.

Typos

Hey,
I just noticed a couple of typos/errors, mainly that you refer to glue as paint a couple times, might want to fix that as it might be confusing to total newbies

I\'ll try to do my best, but English is not my native language

I don\'t want to be mailed by newbies, telling me that they tried to glue a metal part to a plastic one using citadel paint :bouncy:
I\'ll read over the article again if I have some more spare time and update it.

Good article. I dont know if you went back and corrected the typos before I got a chance to look at it, but I didnt see anything too obvious. And your English is much easier on my eyes than my German would be on yours.

The article looks great to me! Where I\'m seeing the paint/glue mixup is in the first line of the second paragraph about glueing:

Plastic and metal requires different kinds of paint. Plastic paint actually melts the plastic in this way attaching the two pieces.

Overall a great site, and the article itself is well written (especially with english not being your native language). Very detailed without being too long. I will definately check back for future articles.
