So what do you lot think of my first attempt at nmm?

your on the right track.
try to get the blending smoother and make the contrast stand out a little more.

the best advice i ever read for nmm was on saxon angels website.

take a metal object, a spoon for example and move it around in the light.
by observing how light hits it you will be able to see the contrast between shading and highlighting.

you already have the glare part right.

Yep the blends just need to be smoother and it will be perfect. and I dont have the authority either but I\'ll put in a vote for Yellow one being the master at NMM.
