first conversions-

i will be doing my major conversions using games workshop figures is there anything i should know before starting this big because i will be doing both friend and foe of both warhammer & warhammer 40k if anyone can help with task good tell me what should i do to get this project off the ground or get it started?

i have the time i hope and the figures &the putty would be allright if i tried milliput as well green stuff when doing the figures.

okay..............do you want to have an ork warboss with a landraider for a lower torso? a wrathlord with laspistols for fingers or what? \"conversion\" is a very loose word if you dont follow it up with the figure or race your working on or want to start with

well i starting to do chaos knight because it seems to be the easiest to do and paint then i will do chaos barbian and i will start either the imperial guard and/or space marines not the chaos -yet!

Usually easier to start out with weapon or head swaps etc, get used to it first. When you start gathering a bit of skill and understanding move at your own pace man.
Generally the easiest route to take

Not to detract from your goals as I\'ve not seen any of your work. But there are people here that make working with GS or milliput look very easy.

Given about an hour, a set of dental tools and a ball of GS, I can actually fill a seam in a joint to the point that it does not look like a bad glue job by a 3 year old.

As with most things worthwhile in this world, skills with the GS come with lots of time with the GS. Do, practice and do some more. Grow & learn & advance.

Post it in the WIP section and get some help from those that have strong GS-foo as my GS-foo is weak.
