A good first submission. Her face has character and the base is simple but appropriate.
Now for the ripping-to-shreds
: I think you could have used a few more colours, as she is quite drab for a pirate. Fictional pirates at least tend to be quite colorful and flamboyant. Also, your paint is laid on quite thick, notice the obvious \"texture\" on the thighs and coat? That\'s a sign that you need to thin your paints and apply more thin layers to get the same coverage. I also think making her hands gloves the same colour as her coat was a mistake - it just looks wrong somehow, probably relating to my first point.

....welcome to the forums! Nice figure,if I could paint eveything that colour (and I often do!) I\'d be a happy man! lol So....cool colouring and the base adds to the feel nicely,good job
