First mini on CMON

Hiya\'s this is my first ever mini here and my 13th ever painted , hopefully wont be unlucky 13 :p . My camera is is just a little digital camera so the pictures are\'nt brilliant , hopefully have a new one for better pics in a few months , thanks for looking .

Looking good. I think the highlights on the robe could be stronger. I like the axe head.

For your 13th mini and 1st post, you did a good job! I like the cloak and the weapon swap. I particular like it when you include a little bit of fluff to go along with the mini. The reatest weakness IMHO (an it could be the photo) is that the face looks a little splotchy and the coloration a bit funky. The arm and hand look okay, but the face llooks a little too orange. Again, it could be the photo letting you down.

I was going to give it a 6 - 6.5, but I gave you the extra partial point and raised it to a 7, because, like I said, I really like the inclusion of a little background story. Nice work.

Same thoughts on the face as dauber.close up would be nice ,or maybe not:D.
keep it up.
as for leather I would darken the shade rarther than lighten the highlight,unless u want tan leather that is.

for ur 13th mini, this is not bad.... I like wat you hav done with the base and scythe. The leather is okay but needs 1. more black/dark brown wash 2. more highlights.....

the face seems splotchy but it could be because of the camera.... I think with a better pic next time we can give more comments on painting the face. Right now I think you are moving in the rite direction. :)
