First Painted Mini in 15 years

Just posted my first painted mini in over 15 years yesterday. The camera work is crap due to a cheap kodak easyshare that didn\'t do macro very well. (New one coming this weekend) but I wanted to get some general feedback from the mini so I\'ll know the areas that I need to work on and what everyone thinks. As I am getting votes of about 4.3 but no comments posted.

The mini looks pretty good... but fuzzy. On that.... I also have an easy share. Did you use a tripod? My pictures used to look like that until I steadied the camera a bit. Also, try taking the pictures at different distances. I used to get real close and use macro setting and get fuzzy pics. Once I backed up a bit and zoomed in more with the macro, things worked a bit better. Welcome back to painting ... I hope you find it still enjoyable.

Used wood blocks to steady the camera, this model did not have a macro mode you could enter and only digital zoom which made it worse. If I back up a foot I get clear pictures but no way to zoom in. I got a good deal on a older Olympus C 4040 Zoom 4.1 Megapixel camera on eBay for about $70 with a mini-tropod, when it gets here I\'ll try to take some new pics and get them up.

That\'ll likely improve your photo quality. Also try using the timer delay, so your finger pressure doesn\'t shake the camera when you shoot.

Definitely post better pics when ya get the chance...
I would work on getting more contrast into the colors, to bring out more of the details and the folds in the clothing and also in the flesh. The face kind of gets lost in the beard, but that could be due to the picture (it\'s hard to tell)
