This was a commission job, and a lot of fun to work on over the last few weeks.

I painted every single thing before any of it got assembled, and that helped a lot in comparison with my previous attempts at many-part models (which were for the same customer).

I'm still not great at photography, but I'm very pleased with this piece, and these pictures turned out with no sign of my fingertip or thumb in them, so I put them up.

Any constructive criticism will be applied to my next model, to be sure, but the customer already has this one.

Edit: And it turns out that I don't know how to include the images in this forum format.

I have the old version of this model and I must say this newer model looks a lot more dynamic. I am looking forward to painting it after seeing yours here. I think the photos need to be bigger and sharper as it is such a detailed model its hard to see. But looks good.

Agree with the others....The photo isn't being conducive enough for me to see this!

Thanks for putting it up for me. I'll get it figured out soon.
Unfortunately, I can't provide better pics, as the customer already has the piece.
Hopefully I'll figure out how to take better pictures, soon. I'm just glad my finger or thumb aren't blocking these ones.

Oh darn....

That Rat Ogre looks cool as hell.

You should definitely post more of your stuff. I'd love to see it.

More is coming. I have a camera again. I have pieces approaching completion. I think I've figured out how to keep my finger and/or thumb out of my shots. Now I just have to figure out how to take really good pictures with the camera, and I'll be set. :)

It's more the yellow colour temp that's making it off, more in focus/sharper shots would help though. I managed to pull the yellow out to show you =) Still looks a little bit bleached dispite messing with the levels though.

Well there is a lot of light hitting the back paper in the middle and the lower half of the model looks in shadow too much , whilst taking the picture you will be blocking light as well so you just need to get the light on the model more, duck down, use the timer on the camera if you can and get out of the way of any light totally. Also take the photos on a bright day if it is possible with lots of ambient light. Evenly lighting it will show off details best, no spot is too dark and no spot being too bright should show the model at its best. It really is tough getting it right and can be pretty frustrating when you see some of the great photos on here and no matter how hard you try it doesn't look like the best ones you see here!
