First Submission (Dark Elf Noble)

Well. Here\'s my first submission. Converted noble from one of the corsair champs and the cold one knight champ. I\'d love any feed back you can give me. Also I\'m not sure about the pictures... Should I have made them larger? Anyways, anything else you might want to know is already written on the page. So here it is:

Comments welcome and appreciated.

A very simple and obvious conversion - why didn\'t I think it it? ???

The glowing sword could be highlighted even further, I reckon. With yellow and orange to make it more firy, or with white for a less colour intensity. The OSL is, unfortunately, very understated and I had not noticed it till after I read your comment.

And yes, the images could have been larger for a better look. When making the composite, put the images underneath one another, instead of side-by-side.

What makes this mini for me is the face - a typical dark elf sneer. :)

Solid first piece in my opinion. Agreed, the pics could be a bit larger so we can see it a bit better. Nice work, keep it up :)

You could also have made it bigger by simply cropping off a lot of the surrounding white. It is also pretty dark and I think the green scales would stand out far more with a better phot.

Still a pretty good job.

The photo is a little dark I agree. I did my best to fix that with photoshop but it still came out a little dark, the green is quite a bit brighter in real life. I\'ve made a new composite with larger pictures and the pictures one under each other, let me know if this better. I really appreciate your comments.

Still a bit dark for me. If you play with the curves tool you should be able to brighten it further.

As to the painting I think the purple looks a little under highlighted and the dragon on his hand doesn\'t stand out as it\'s the same colour as the glove.

So do you think with the larger images I would be getting better votes (not saying I think it deserves better, I\'m actually really surprised with how it\'s doing), or do you think that the larger pictures make the errors more obvious?
