First Submission - DV CSM Chosen

I just uploaded several photos of a CSM Chosen Squad an they all seem to be stuck in WAITING status? Is this normal? Are they reviewed before appearing on the site? Would really appreciate some suggestions if I have missed something.

If not, I would sure appreciate some feedback on the figs. There is nothing more humbling than big close up photos of your work. I have some better stuff to submit I just need to get photographed but they are as good a place to start as any.

Thanks!

Perfectly normal, you can still post the link here for people to look at them and vote while they are being cleared for the gallery :)

Thanks for the quick response. Ill wait till they are available in the gallery. There are 13 of them. Great figs in your gallery. Ill be posting my own DV Librarian Krannon and CO Master soon. Just trying to optimize the photos. Any suggestion on how to control the size of the photo in the gallery. My work doesn't warrant full screen yet...

Test photo of Librarian.

For my wip pics I tend to bring the finished picture into paint on my pc and resize it there. Otherwise it's photoshop for my submissions.

Thanks again. Last question of the night I promise. Pics are active and getting votes which I suppose is not as cool after a year but its thrilling at the moment. Question is, they all game up as separate photos instead of all being a single gallery set. What did I do wrong?

You loaded them as single images (plus duplicates).
Its common practise to 'stitch" front and back shots of the same mini together.
But putting a number of images in at the same time doesn't guarentee that someone else isn't uploading images at the same time and getting in the sequence of your pics.

I will go in and delete the rear views but what do you mean by stitch...create an image that contains both views in the same image? If so, can multiple images (all thirteen) be stitched into the same image so they only take up one gallery space. Thanks. I know I said last question of the night.

Yes, "stitching" the images means creating one single image with several shots side-by-side. Thirteen-in-one would probably be a bit overkill, but 4 or 6 collected in a 2x2 or 2x3 (or 1x4) grid is very common to do. Take a look around the gallery to see examples of images with multiple angles.
