Welcome to the ranks!

It\'s always nice to welcome another mature minipainter.:bouncy:

I have posted comments on your mini, but after a while of looking at the images on this site, you get to the point where you will almost be able to predict the comments you are likely to get. Btw, it\'s very good for a first mini. Like freakinacage, it\'s much better than my first!:flip:

From one 32 year old to another, a few comments.

Your skin tone is good (a bit messy on the hand), and you\'ve placed the highlights in the correct positions, but thinning your paints (the cure to most mini painting ills) will take away a lot of the hard lines at the edges of the paint.

The highlighting on the black and brown is subtly done, but maybe too subtle for the scale. You could probably get away with adding an extra highlight step.

Don\'t forget to highlight your metals as this can really bring them to life. Mix gold and silver for a gold highlight if you can\'t get hold of a really light gold.

Lastly, is that a mold line on the sword? They really show up on shiny or mid-tone surfaces.

Hope all this helps. :D
