That would be £6,000,000 and pocket money then Brett. lol

But I understand what you are saying, despite the fact that this is a large 2D work the brush marks on the face do give a reasonable indication of how he as a painter approached achieving the highlights. As painter ourselves (even with a much reduced \"Canvas\") we should consider how other achieve what we try for and see if we can adapt their methods.

Granddad!
Foundry aren\'t too bad their Paint system has some nice colors which slot in between other ranges to increase the stages between tones,
ie: instead of just the three flesh tones, you can increase this to 6 or 8 by adding other brands and lining them up tonally, saves time mixing too :D

To carry on with the idea of using other colors to alter the flesh, this isn\'t a bad read

yeah I know Alex was a bit of an ass when he posted here, but there a some worthwhile techniques in his book

You want to perform threadomancy on his WIP Mike? That would be impressive!! lollol

I don\'t think anyone has ever said he wasn\'t good with a brush, just unable to accept criticism.
Which is a shame as I think that people unwilling to listen to others views on their work will end up \"in a rut\" and possibly stagnate somewhat.

Granddad!
no he wasn\'t to good at accepting a little critique, shame really

still, I don\'t s\'pose we should talk about those that aren\'t here anymore (on CMoN that is)
;)
