The clerk at my FLGS talked me into entering their latest painting contest. As this is the Bestmen release month, I've been given 1 plastic Gor miniture, which is to be handed over by March 14th at the latest. Conservions are limited to arm swaps, light repositioning, etc, and restructed to elements of the Gor sprue.
I won't start it right away because
- I am in the middle of painting of batch of ork boyz, and I want to finish it before doing something else
- I am taking 1 week on vacation early March so that my stepdaughter can enjoy snow in the mountain.
I'll start by designing the color scheme I will use for the entry. I don't want to use a "fleshy" tone for the skin, I'll probably go for a grey-greenish color and paint the fur in a contrasting tone of brown.
