Hi, this is the first of a 19 blood bowls dwarfs, the color scheme despite the variety of armors and poses will be for all green and red to mantain the team cohesion.

i hear that generul!!!
red and green go so well together, but i just can\'t stand the christmas image it always puts in my head...i cringe every time i paint a green/red combo...
why do they have to complement each other so!!!

@3671610: excellent paint job...the battle damage is wicked...face and beard excellent...the padded cloth could use one more sharp highlight to bring out the shape of the quiltin\'...

cheers
jah

Dont agree. The muted green stops the \'santa effect\', plus there is so little of the red. Dont change a thing.

I think he looks awesome! I, too, think the muted green and the tiny amount of red avoid the Santa look. Keep it up! Can\'t wait to see more.

Hi, thx for comments, it\'s very important for me to know if the color scheme will work well on the gaming table, i think i\'ll mantain it trying to avoid the santa elf killer effect :)

It looks great, the santa theme didn\'t click till G.P. mentioned it, just avoid white beards to be on the safe sidelol
I\'d put a little grime in the chain saw from oil and smoke, and I also agree about the quilting, but these are minor issues, over all great peice, especially like the grimacing face. Nice one.

if you did the gems green then it would help tie the model in to the rest of the team much nicer.

i only say this as the hair and skin have a lot of red tone within them.

looks good tho :)

I agree. The only thing I wish it was in metallics.

Hi! another update, i\'ve done another slayer and 2 troops, well the 2 troops aren\'t very carismatic pieces but anyway..
also changed the color scheme, that\'s not bad so i have the starplayer that is easily spotted on the field.

Looks great, the only minor suggestion I would have is adding some green to the slayers to keep unit cohesion. Possibly green tattoos to break up the skin tones.

Otherwise keep up the great work.
