Fluffy Stories?

MAuahahaa...

Another one has succumb to the evils of the overlord.. I mean Gamesworkshop...

Well Becca as per mentioned by many others Black library has a nice amount of \"fluff\" per say in there books: the Esinhorn trigoly plus short stories, Ravenor, The Ciaphas Cain series, Gaunts Ghosts, Lord of the Night. They all have the involvment of the Inquisition to some extent... (Just for reference I have access to all 120 or so black library books (Ex_ GW manager had to own all of them....)) plus i LOVE the Inquisition.

Im a Witchhunters player for 40k and play inquisitor regularly (although in 28 mm, 54 mm is hard to have more than 4 or 5 characters going at once.)

For you daemon entries I would not worry about fluff as your guide, I would look into the ART that is implanted into the various books as there are some amazing scenes and people that can be simply converted for GD entries... My attempt for battle scene is going to be from a page in the Witch hunters codex showing a heretic psyker making a marines brain kinda toasty... :D

If ya wanna bounce ideas off of someone who has been GW only for the 5 years (now all about my warmachine though
:D) Give me an IM at Rndmblade im usually on.

Its not you alls fault it is ....:D Halfmanhalfamazing\'s (aka Stefen one young son\'s) fault.
We went to grailquest con and he took all his lawn money and spent it on bugs. Next thing I know DM O DOOM had the mind set of Tau. Army lists were flashing etc... they took a bunch of old minis and proxy-ed them last weekend :D heck it worked to learn and, they played for hours.
DM will play almost anything and so will HMHA, gave me plenty of time to paint and listen to them work it (the best part of the games) so hey I\'m chipper.
I guess if I must I will be a SOB but they will drag me to paint all those by my ears :D
BTW I just got the new confrontation rules book here. Pretty neat and wonderful art I would like to learn that one as well as war machine. Too little time way too little.

Back from the dead

I\'m reviving this, because I seemed to have found what I am looking for.

Have any of you seen this, or better yet, bought it? I happen to come across this in Borders the other day while looking in the D&D section. It looked like it covered the backgrounds of many races, although there were a few noticeable omisions(such as the Tomb Kings). However, there was stuff in there about Chaos Dwarves, which I thought GW dropped from their current line.

Anyway, i was making several purchases, and didn\'t have enough for this, but I plan on going back for it. There is no game-related material, it\'s entirely fluff.

The peculiar thing is, i couldn\'t find it on the GW site, and it supposedly is published by Thunder\'s Mouth Press, not GW, but I can\'t even find a mention of this on their site either; weird. The published date says 1998, so maybe thats why there are omisions (like Ogre Kingdoms).

Since i plan on picking this up, any input would be helpful.
