Back from the event, managed to swing 3 gold medals and a silver (hype)! I was really tired and after receiving the medals I made a b-line for the doors. Having just worked the graveyard shift the night before I was pushing 34 hours awake, and didn't think to stick around for the show awards and I didn't really anticipate winning anything...I get a message from a friend 20 minutes later as I'm in gridlock traffic saying"You won 'best figure' with your Tribe Cheif..." I feel like I should be wearing the dunce cap right now. At least the judges gave my buddy the trophy to give to me at a later time....

Great job on being a fabulous and very distinctive painter... teeeeeeerrible job on being champ! Congratulations!
Get some rest, then start your next project. Can't wait to watch it turn red & blue!

Getting on the band wagon with this model, loved it first time I laid eyes on it. Thought to myself I would try my hand at sculpting the head and give it my own original touch....ummmm, not sure if I am pleased with the result, he's a bit ugly, even for an Orc. Oh well, full steam ahead!

as for the orc head, well, not like i couldve done it any better. i personally kind of prefer the originally type of ork heads though.

Been struggling to get traction with any projects lately, find myself abandoning projects left and right, just not happy with anything and losing interest in them fast. Here is what I am working on now, lets see for how long though ha.

If your mojo isn't there for a mini ditch it and do a different one. Painting is supposed to be fun! I do like your start on the elder very nice.
