I\'m really developing a taste for \'miniature\' based board games. I love the fact that you can jump right in and start gaming once you\'ve gotten the rules down.
And, gasp, shock...I\'m surprised to find that it doesn\'t even matter if the miniatures are painted!!
Anyhow, the game I\'m playing alot lately is called Last Night on Earth, it is a survival horror game pitting Humans vs. Zombies. The game is rather easy to learn, but I\'ve been really amazed at how some of the scenarios we\'ve played \'feel\' like a zombie movie. Most of the games have been tightly contested.
The game is kind of a hybrid between a board game/card game/tabletop skirmish game.
Just curious to know if anyone else has tried it, and what they thought of it?
Also, it seems the Flying Frog folks are putting out their newest game A Touch Of Evil which is set in coloniel America. While it seems they\'ve gotten some of the same elements, this one is a cooperative game of the Players VS. A supernatural enemy. I understand it is like a Arkham Horror type game, but not so convoluted.
