you got some home repair centers? (we used to call them lumber yards, but they are fancier now).

Generally, they have blue or pink extruded polystyrene. (color depends on brand here). Avoid the white beaded stuff - it will basicly self destruct unless you armor coat it.

Over here colour is a definition of the insulation rating.

But be aware this stuff is expensive and usually only sold in batches of four sheets (4 foot x 3 foot).

I purchased an 4ftx8ft sheet of 50mm pink insulation foam for £18 a couple of years ago. That was Wicks.

Most builders merchants will sell it for cavity insulation and it is easy to work and cut (use a bread knife to cut and Copydex to stick). Even B&Q have it in!

As good as Barrule are, I would advise against it for this (I do use Barrule alot myself).

Hope that helps :D

only if you are in another country and purchasing from america.
that\'s the only time the exchange rate of currencies makes a differance.

we generaly pay of more our equivalent currency due to higher and more taxes.

My local Home Depot has 4x8 sheets of 1/2\" for $10.00, thats roughly a fourth of what you paid.
