Coffee/beer/miniathon...

Games Day this year is Sunday September 14th. However, I have to admit I am more tempted by a get-together than I am by a GW indoctrination session, but there are posibilities here that could be worked around?
As a social realist I suspect that a get together on the Friday/Saturday is likely to mean that no bugger would actually get to Birmingham on the Sunday. That wouldn\'t break my heart however....lol
I am speaking about my own weaknesses here. If people wanted to do Games Day we could make a concerted effort...??Somebody would certainly have to take a cattleprod to me on a Sunday morning after a good Saturday nightlol:bouncy::flip:

Games Day bash....

Cool, so you guys are going to games day huh? In theory, so am I with some friends I have just setup a model club with :D Not been for years, but I am sure it will be as hectic as usual.

Hmm guess I should mention something about food whilst I am here! Well, staying on the subject of coffee - there\'s a local farm here in Devon that makes the most delicious coffee ice-cream. Yumm!

No plans really..

Apart from the fact that I happen to have blagged a ticket I have no real plans or desires to go to Games Day. I am currently feeling very anti-GW and have no desire to support them in any way whatsoever.

Having never been to a GD before however, I am slightly tempted but I have to admit my sole activity there would be to blag as many GD minis as possible to re-coup my costs through eBay.

Sad though it may sound, the idea of a Chuckle Brothers competition inspires me far more. But there again, I am a sick B*stardlollollol

Never been, probably never will go either!

I am all for a few bevvies in September, the only issue being that coffee-roasting will not be involved as the machine is in storage for a possible 3-4 months whilst a new location is being fitted out. The roasting is being handled in West Wales until then, so any GD activity will NOT involve roasting beans :( However, I\'m sure I can still drink despite that!

COFFEE ICECREAM IS GREAT! Tesco Finest is a good one - never thought I\'d like it but I eat it all the time now :)

Ch-ch-ch-chucklevision, chucklevision, ch-chucklevision! lol Let\'s do it!

I may not have bizarre likes, but apparently I have bizarre dislikes.
I dislike coffee immensely.
Everyone always said \"it never tastes as good as it smells\" and I don\'t like the smell.
And I disliked it even before I worked in a coffee warehouse for 6 months.

I have something similar, I really don\'t like chips (\"freedom fries\" for americans :p ). Being Belgian this makes me a immense heathen to our \'if-it\'s-edible-fry-it-in-oil\" culture. :D
