For Lizardmen players, new plastic stegadon pics ..all I can say is...DAMN!!!!!!!

Shit. Pardon my language. 8)

When is that due out? I don\'t play Lizardmen, but I have 2 of the metal ones for a project I\'m doing and while I really like them, these are also pretty good.

I think the only things I don\'t really care for are the skulls strapped to the legs, and the standard Stegadon looking head has been changed. But still a nice looking model.

I just don\'t need more expensive things to desire for something that\'s a long-running project.:)

Very, very nice. Will need to see better pics \'cos it may be a little chunky for my tastes but initial impressions are favourable.

Seems to have something of the Styracosaur about it...

the current steg is more of a styracasaur (with an anklyosaur tail end)....

this one...is ...just vicious!!!

Completely agree. The metal stegs we have right now... well they look like junk. This model looks more imposing, however... does it really matter when you get to playing, probabily not. I will get one of the kits because I am more of a collector of the army figures than I play but It does look from initial photo\'s better than what we have now.

Awww, but the current version is still tons better than any other metal Steg out there in the market.

Oh, still nobody\'s mentioned when this new version might be out...

Lizardmen 7E armybook and models out in feb 2009. May be a 2nd phase of models later in 2009 or 2010 but no mention yet.

horns are there..the longer ones are more on the side of the head plate..instead of right above the eyes. the nose horn instead seems to be a ridge down the center of the head with many horns

ok folks..

So the stegadon can be made into 3 versions.

The ballista version I provided the pic in this thread, some unknown version, AND the engine of the gods.

Here is a pic of the EotG version, that someone took from WD december issue.

I am pretty sure I read the 3rd version is for the lord mazamundi figure

Also did you see the new kroxigor\'s I like them more than the current version but I think they look like the 5th edition ones alot

also the new terradons look stupid as all hell, waste of sculpting time

i like the krox least...love the terradons but will reposition legs leaning forward more...

temple guard rock....

i think the third version is some type of transport platform, where skinks have longer range blowpipes or something and just shoot everywhere as the steg tramples into units.
