Hi everyone,

I am looking to get some feedback on some models i finished for my army:

I probably could have gone a bit higher with the highlights for the skin, but for the tabletop i think they are OK. Feedback and criticism is welcome, no matter how harsh :)

Edit: I had to upload them again as it looks like they were deleted when Photobucket exceeded its bandwidth.

I think they are great, especially for being just rank and file. Id say leave the highlighting where its at, you dont wanna get sucked into too much detail for an army.

The black is really nice, the only crit I have is the bases. its more personal preference but I think the brown and green clash. Id paint the whole base to match the top.

If anything (besides Monkeysplitter\'s base comment), I\'d maybe shade some of the feathers more. A few look a bit washed out, but that may be because of the photo. So really, yeah, don\'t touch anything save the base edges.

The skin I think looks good as is. How did you highlight your black, thats the kind of highlights I want to apply but just can\'t find the right formula ???

The black is a basecoat of chaos black over black undercoat just to keep a solid colour. Then it is drybrushed a mix of 3:1, 1:1, then 1:3 chaos black: bleached bone. Then it is drybrushed bleached bone and washed with Devlan Mud then Badab Black. It\'s a quick and dirty method, but i think at the end it really looks good, and doesn\'t take long to do, which is great over such a large area.

What has been said about the base edges makes sense. They are only green as the rest of my greenskin army has green edged bases to match a green grass theme. If it wasn\'t the prospect of rebasing so many models to match, i would probably change them all to brown.
