I\'ve been amazed with the Elysian Droop Troop mins forge world produce since theire releas and am considering collecing a small foce of them (1,000 pts or so) and was wondering if anyone knew what the minis were like and if it is a wise choice to get them???

Most people seem to love those minis, especially those guys over at Warseer. Check out the Project Logs section.

I would suggest getting the miniatures you want, if you like \'em, get \'em!

Get them by all means, but be prepared for a long clean up session.
Forgeworlds smaller stuff (ie 40 Figures) have a reputation for having several casting issues. (Bubbles, Strange additional lumps, rough surfaces etc..)

thanks for the pointers guys, i will hopefuly get a squad before christmas, also what kind of tool will i need to clean them up??? i\'ve never realy given my men that much love and attention to be honest but these minis are too good to not give love and attention to

A good modelling knife, a needle file or two, some sandable modelling putty (milliput fine or magic sculpt, for instance) to fill in any bubble holes or really rough patches and some fine-grit wet and dry paper if you want to get the surface really smooth (but you can get close enough with just the needle files and the knife).

And be aware that resin is harder and more brittle than plastic, so be careful not to be too heavy handed while cleaning the minis.
