Forge World announces Horus Heresy Book

OMG I am so excited!
I am quite dizzy with anticipation!

Forge World announced the long rumored Horus Heresy Book in their latest Newsletter.

There is no information or video on the FW homepage yet... For all of you, who do not have the newsletter either: There is a trailer video and availability information on my blog.

If someone tells me the tags for a video include, I will post the video here...

I talked to dégra at GD Germany (he is one of the FW modellers) and asked him whether we can expect a primarch or two at GD UK...

He smirked, looked away, handed me a horus heresy button and said "Take this..."

I so hope this means YES.

Really looking forward to this coming out as I'm a big HH fan. What nobody knows is if this is going to be based on 40k rules or a set of rules in it's own right - personally I'm hoping it'll be a set of new rules so you can't mix and match HH specific mini's with 40k.

Apparently each book will focus on a specific number of SM legions and FW will release legion specific mini's

My guess is that it will use 6th edition rules but include complete army lists for legions.

As for legion specific models, expect alot of shoulder pads and upgrade kits. Complete models will be reserved for new units, characters and the like.

I foresee a terminator upgrade pack in the works and a old school landspeeder and some jetbikes.

I heard new rumors, that there will be a primarch available at GD UK!

I had heard about this possibility from a staff mate a wee while ago.

Great its being confirmed.

The only thing thats annoying is there is no info as to rough cost so basically you are going to GD blind, so i hope its not too silly.

I have a weeks hols in london the week before so need to avoid shopping as GD FW and BL stand will be shutting up and taking my money lol.
