Hi,

So a long time has passed and a lot of hours been sunk into this one. I learned heaps doing it. I'd love to know what you think, the good the bad and the ugly.

Great paint job and congrats on getting it finished. I particularly like the work you've done on the armour plates and axe blade.

Very nice. The axe and armor are obviously deserving of compliments, but I also think the horns and teeth came out particularly well.

I have an old Ral Partha balrog that's going to get repainted, and the orange/brown skin tones you used are face-palmingly obvious to me now as being perfect for my balrog.

Thanks for the compliments guys.

The flames took quite a few hours to do. And the various parts of the axe were very frustrating, some of it was repainted a number of times.

@ Eldermind. l used mainly Vallejo model air colours. Fire Red, Italian Red, Light Red, Scarlet and Orange. For shading, P3 Coal Black and a little black. For highlights, P3 Sulfur Yellow, VMC Medium Flestone and a little white.
