It was at Games Day, and no it aint!!!
that\'s a serious amount of money their asking for :O But i guess they\'ll find customers for it or they wouldn\'t have puted the price that high, think of all those supervike like looneys prepared to ruin themself for some forgeworld goodies.

Looks like a nice bit of design work there, apparently they\'re not even producing them in mass production like they would with normal model kits but are building them on demand for people who order them, they must take a long time to make!

Yet at the other end of the scale they were selling off all their busts and collectors series with about a 75% discount! I managed to pick up the Ogre Mercenary for £10!
I really hope they are selling that stuff at Aus GD at a discount I want to get some of the busts.
However given the limited availability of FW stuff over here they\'ll probably charge more like they did last year (I worked out it was cheaper just to order the stuff online and pay for shipping than it was to buy it at GD last year, how dumb is that?)

Forgeworld are dropping their lines of \"Collectors Series\" .....Could this be a Teddybear out of the pram for being relegated to the Open category only?
Their products are only made to order, alledgedly.
The make such a huge profit on everything, they are being referred to as Money Sucking Vampires. (According to a Now former Mail Order Troll... Sorry Hobby Specialist!)
They are being TOLD to fit into the \"Core game systems\", or else! (Again alledgedly)

Well for a guy in the terrain bis- it bodes well for my little homemade/kitbashed toys that I will never be in competition with that MONSTERlollol. Man, what would I kit bash to build somethin like that behemoth- a compact car, a tool shed, a garage package???lollol

Actually, the image I saw was like papparazzi - popping out from behind a bush and forcing money into the guys hand, or something like that... (Sorry, I\'ve been playing too much Thief 3).

I think it is just awesome of them to post pictures of inspirational scenery. Besides, if one of us wins the lottery, we have something else that we just have to have.
What I really think, is that it is great to have photos to reverse engineer, err I mean flatterize most sincerely, by making a good likeness in styrofoam

I still have an old Pontiac compact that I am trying to use to flatterize such a beast- to get to the same size that is. Seriously speaking...
There are some good fortress walls for GI Joe that could be kitbashed to get such a thing rolling.
