Well I painted this guy a few months ago, before my break from painting.

I never got around to posting it and am quite pleased at how it turned out.

Just tried painting another model this weekend and damn if you dont paint often its real easy to get very rusty!

nice blending and muted colors. The \'grass\' tends to dominate due to it\'s size and the brilliance of the color. The mini could use, IMO, a bit more highlighting and darker shading......not a lot but some. Maybe do the eyes in a color and outline them to make them stand out more?

In real life it looks a little more defind but I think you are right, it could use some work on the eyes to make them \"pop\" more.

My first time making such a \"busy\" base, do you think it works or is it too much ?

The base is fine except the leaf that is in front on his face. Maybe the colours of the plants could be toned down with a wash. I know generalpoleaxe and others paint theirstatic grass and such.
