hey CMON...

here is the first mini from \'06...
my second forgeworld smale scale mini...

i had a lot of fun with this guy, simply because the airborne idea is so cool...
the powerfist is one of the best, for guard minis...

the green on the fatigues was a mix i wanted to try out, goin\' for an olive drab with a bit more pop to it...
the grey just seemed to be a neutral counterpoint to the greens, which i wanted to be the center of attention...

yet another test of a quick, clean, easy tabletop quality scheme for an army i will only daydream about paintin\':)...

Nice piece of work there. How quick would you estimate you did this fig? It was a while ago I know but I was just curious.

@scottradom: not sure exactly how long this guy took...
a test mini always takes a while as the mixes get worked out...
i\'d say i spent a good 20 hours on this guy, but half that was experimentation...

i\'m the slowest painter i know, so 20 hours is actually pretty quick for me:rolleyes:...
