Hi, just a quick question. Is there still a problem with Forgeworld\'s delivery times? I need to order a lot of Salamander bits, but need them quite quickly.

Hello,

ForgeWorld isn\'t particularly reliable when it comes to delivery times. I\'ve had to wait 2 months for an order.

I enquired about this and was told that compared to GW, it is a much smaller operation and they often get a back log of orders.

You\'ll find that a lot of people turn to ebay or private traders to get a Forgeworld product. Which I now do.

good luck. i have never had fast service from forgeworld, except when there were loads of people here complaining about delays and for some reason i got mine very quickly then!

I have placed two orders with them in the last month or two and both have arrived between 1 and 2 weeks later. I live in cardiff, south wales to give an idea of distance.

Yes, even when you put a several thousand dollars order. If something is backordered it is backordered for good

You should be allright for Salamander bits they aren\'t the most popular.. they had a lot of problems and still do keeping up with the demad for the death Korps and the cultists .. You can always phone them and ask I guess it all depends on curent stocks...

thats what was so weird about my order, it had a few randoms, including the death korps comissarr (who was very popular) and i got it in a couple of weeks. madness

I got my renegade milita in 8 days from order to delivery in Connecticut, USA. But like the others said, can be quick if the items you\'ve ordered are on hand, or can take a while if they arent.

Maybe it would pay to email them and ask?

AS I understand it a lot of the larger items are on a \"Cast on Demand\" basis to reduce \'dead business costs\'.
This means of course that it becomes \'Cost effective\' as a business to stockpile larger item orders to bulk produce.
However its not Customer Focused.
