Formula for tanned human flesh

Using GW paints please..

I\'m trying to get that reddish-brown tan a person would get spending long hours in the sun.

I\'m trying to aviod the perfect golden tan since my warrior is going to be a tough mofo who cares more about the blood of his enemies and less about his golden perfect tan.

Tanned flesh+ Elf flesh... Work from tanned flesh to a mix of elf flesh, however high you wanna go. Maybe add a Flesh Wash to make it that orange color

I would go with this formula, i\'ve used it before and was happy with the look.

Tanned flesh
Wash of Tanned Flesh and Scorched Brown
Highlight back to tanned flesh
75% Tanned flesh/25% dwarf flesh
50/50 Tanned Flesh/Dwarf Flesh
dwarf flesh
Hot spots of 50/50 dwarf flesh/skull white
thin wash, almost a glaze, of terracotta and a tiny amount of red gore.

The final wash can be repeated as many times as you like to help even out the skin transitions, add depth and a hint of red that sunburns tend to leave. I\'m sure the better painters can offer you more detailed and better suggestions.

scorched brown, brown ink, bestial brown dwarf flesh, elf flesh , bits of elf flesh+skull white.
use reallt thin layers and alsodont use any of the colours pure always have a little of the shade underneath mixed in with the layer you are painting.

Schmackeroo, I like your tones... is the bestial brown mixed with dwarf flesh, or is each a newer layer?
