Gran\' Taban advice ! take care with ebay sellers...
I had yesterday an unpleasant experience on E-bay...
Some guy was selling tons eldars for far less than their usual price, but for some 100\'s $ anyway
So I went to my saving account, crashed the pigglet and decided to buy him 50% of his army
(I\'m a rich man you know ;) )
Fine with us, but when the guy asked me to send the money to \"a friend in germany\" I insisted to use the ebay\'s third party paying system (rich but cautions !)
The seller refused and told me he wanted to use an other escrow company -escrow.uk.com- (based in spain BTW!!!)
After a quick search on Yahoo I found out this company was fake and used by some thieves to hack E-bay members account or sell phantom stuff !
As for this seller feedbacks : all positive (96%) and then a total mess in the last three ones : unique conversions sold to multiple buyers, asking for some cash deposits on foreign friends accounts

I stopped everything ! Probably a poor guy account is hacked by romanians or singaporians bandits !!!
Here is my advice :
CHECK ANY SELLER FEEDBACKS !
CHECK ALL THE ESCROW Cies AND DEAL ONLY WITH E-BAY RECOMENDED ONES !!!!

So long

for Americans

For Americans:

You really should just make it a general rule to deal with banks and escroe companies from American, regardless. It has nothing to do with pride or nationalism. It has to do with security. Once your money has left the US, even if you can prove fraud, the government can\'t help you get it back.

And if you do use a legitimate foreign company, but there is a clerical error or some such nonsense where you lose money, you have to rely on that company\'s good graces to fix the problem. And when dealing with financial companies it\'s a good idea to assume they have no good graces. But that\'s my own personal cinicism.
