Wow it\'s big, perhaps I was foolish to download it... Probably could\'ve streamed it with my 8Mb connection  ah well I get some good dl speed so I\'ll just wait it out..

Very generous of you I must say to give away such a long video for free.

Watched it now, and I must say it\'s a great tutorial!

Cool armature technique, especially for people like me who just suck when it comes to soldering. Face was very good as well. Thanks for letting us watch it for free.

I have watched about half of it. Seems like the information is very helpful. The only thing I would say to the makers is that as an advert to get me to buy your other products I don\'t think it will work on me. The actual production quality is low and there are parts where the camera is out of focus and the light is poor. While I should be able to guess what you are describing it is just not clear enough to make out in proper detail.

I will certainly keep an eye on what you are doing and I commend you for the work you have done. Also the secret squirrel rant on your web page (going on about the top painters not wanting to share) doesn\'t really seem to hold up when I spend so much time learning on CMON.

Very cool!

I ordered the Steeldog videos a month or so ago, but thanks to a Royal mail snafu, haven\'t recieved them.

Martin Beyst is resending them to me, but in the meantime provided me with the DIVX links for the four I bought.

I knew nothing of DIVX beforehand, but was antsy to see the tutorials, so I downloaded the player.

I\'m very impressed with the tutorials, and have learned much on the 2 I\'ve watched. Even in the \"Basic Fundamentals\" one, there were a few tips I will use from now on.

But the best part of them is the length. At about an hour a piece it really reenforces some of the techniques.

Sure, I suppose the production values couldn have been higher, but I prefer this format over a static how to paint book or guide. I whole heartedly recommend them, from what I\'ve seen.

I\'ll try and download the scultpting one now...

Martin, as there is a chance you\'ll read this thread again... I sent you a mail (under a steeldog address) which you did not respond to. Maybe you could contact me? I was wondering about the links to the videos - I bought the NMM one and to be on the safe side I bookmarked the link to the \"return to merchant\" page. After the backdoor problem was fixed this link won\'t work anymore, of course (404).... I was wondering if the page could be generated dynamically or at least updated. My mail is Doomseeker@gmx.de and I would be very happy about a working link ;)

EDIT: Whoa, the sculpting video has more than a gig? You\'re really giving away a long video here, thanks in advance ;)

the production quality on this was a little too low that is why we decided to give it away for free. Actually keeping the camera steady and showing the detail in focus is quite challenging even with a tripod.

feedback on the sales pitch is much appreciated I may tone it down a little.

currently we\'re looking for a venue in the UK to film at as we think it would be interesting to film in front of a live audience with a large projector screen showing what is being recorded. Anyone attending would be able to see the whole thing for free provided we were not charged for the venue. If anyone knows of a suitable venue within 100 miles of lincoln in the uk I would appreciate you contacting me.

\"sounds too good to be true\" Is that a good enough reason not to take a look?

I cannot seem to get it to work either way. I added back the / from the top link and tried the link in the post above mine, no luck.

Any ideas? I would love to see this...

Well, if it makes you feel better Mr. Freak, I did download it, played part of it once to make sure it worked, and now I can\'t open it at all. Some sort of odd error.

Dang! The first part looked pretty good too.

The sculptor/instructor is named Kenaz Raynor (he is the instructor for all the videos I\'ve seen) but the cool thing is that he is the sculptor of some very cool Zombies that were mentioned on this site some time ago.
