hey guys


well in another thread i got a beating for throwing away minis.

so im taking the advice.

this is a test model for my gd entry but i cant be bothered to finish it i would rather start my entry as gd is not that far away. so instead of throwing it away im going to give it away lol.

this is the mini im giving away:

its not that good painted but i thought someone might like to finish it ??

What are you using for material and technique for the fallen snow look on the model and the base?

its bicarbonate of soda mixed with pva and a little water then just applied to the base and mini with an scruffy old paintbrush.

very easy to do

i use the juice or glaze technique for the metals. I basecoated the armour boltgun, then i using very thin paint i glazes the areas of shadow with chaos black and midnight blue. I then highlight it with mithril silver using the feathering technique as i find it hard to highlight using the glazing/juice technique.

Seen it in the person, looks totally sweet, sam is a numpty but I guess this is better than chukcing it in the bin!
