Overheard by a GW suit in search of a new and fresh idea: \"These things are such crap, we can\'t even give them away.\" GW suit: \"Just the thing I was looking for, let\'s give our WD readers a freebie!\"

I don\'t really want to bang on too much because GW make themselves such an easy target that one can easily slip into \'bashing mode\':innocent:
But as an extreme contrast, the French Magazine \'Ravage\' gave away a Rackham mini with it\'s first issue a couple of years ago. Here\'s an eBay auction for one of them...a very rare occurence I might add.

Yes a fine paint job on the goblin indeed, so you can make a silk purse out of a sows ear after all. lol, and I was going to mention that added mushroom, now i\'d buy that

To me it just seems a bit different to say those free minis are shit than going on about how GW don\'t do anything right, their palstics are crap and they eat babies (ok so you may not have used those EXACT words but you were thinking them!

Actually, although I may come across that way at times, my mini room is virtually a shrine to Games Workshop. They only really annoy me on occasion because of the lost potential I see in them...what they could have been...Easy to be a back seat driver I suppose.:flip:
