So they are having to give away Wii-s to internet folk to try and drag gamers back to nintendo...

What they should do is make another useless game like Wii Sleeping!

I rarely get bothered by ads from any website, since there are so many shockwave and other ads with potential malware, I have many firewalls and ad-blocking software to prevent from connecting to any of them. Google has really ruined the internet with their garbage.

or, if you use firefox get the Flashblock add-on.
It means that if you want to view something then you just click on it, otherwise it won\'t load.
I find it extremely useful, especially as you can set certain websites to be free from it and you can block all images from a website (like specific non flash ads)

hope this helps!

You don\'t need an add-on to block flash, just install the 2 files to the plugins folder, and load Firefox, then when you want to use flash, just enable the shockwave add-on, and disable it when you don\'t want it.

The flash ads are getting out of hand everywhere on the web. You only need an image that is a link. If your image is interesting for the small bandwidth it takes, then someone will click on it, otherwise ALL ads will be blocked when every is so cheesed off at the flash ads, that no ads will ever be viewed on websites, and that revenue stream is lost because jerk advertisers and flash ads.
