@Avicenna: I agree, my point is, this is likely someone who has never even heard of Coolminiornot, he\'s not part of the wider community and he can only judge it based on what is showing up at the Golden Demon competitions. Agreeably the most I see of the GDs is the pictures on here and the pictures on the GW site, but only very few on the non-slayer sword winners have ever actually just struck me. The most striking models I see are the ones that never get to competition, and they also tend to be some of the most original that I have yet seen.
\"Judges will be looking for units that best exemplify the qualities and character of the army they represent.\"
They are basicly telling you right off the bat, that what they are looking for, is what fits the best with their beackground, with their armies, and with their paint schemes. They created the Warhammer universe, and they withhold the right to judge the creations based on it. If they wern\'t even slightly judgemental, then they wouldn\'t be judges now would they

.
@ Spacemunkie: The GWkids comment is not only unfair, but it completely degrades any comment that anyone has that might possibly support GW! As to the GW imagery thing, those GD rules wern\'t changed yesterday. They\'ve been there for a while, and if GW can\'t judge what\'s comming out of it\'s hobby in a competition designed specificly for that, then who can? Likewise, I doubt their market shares are dropping because of this one GW staff member\'s opinion, which he stated as such.
