Got my date, as of that Friday shown above, I'm Semi-Retired.

After 42 years in IT in various roles from operations through Facilities management and senior level support, I'm really glad to be getting out.

More time to devote towards Painting and Writing, but I will be looking for a part time job, something a lot less stressful and with a lot less travelling.

Feels better already.

Just paint constantly get up in the morning breakfast constitutional chores 10.30 paint until midnight time off for snacks and comfort breaks that's it. Jammy git!

Glad to see you stepping away from the corporate grinder. Enjoy doing nothing for a while. You've earned it.

But when you get bored, find something to do: Golf, more painting, volunteering, greeter at Wal-Mart (I'll explain later) anything to keep you busy and give you purpose.

I've a few things lined up 'in theory', one of which had involved a course at the local Uni, but the fees render that a non starter.
But with the qualifications, experience and practical skills I have I should be able to find something.
Still going to have a bit of 'Winding down time' first.

Well seeing as yesterday was my last day at work thought I'd revive this.

Bailey, yep planning on selling my services, (the body's past it) after I finish MaXXxxx's Fallen Angel and the Space 1999, Eagle transporter I have in the workshop/MANCAVE/bomb site.
