From Pre-Paint to Re-Paint; AT-43 Steel Trooper

Hi Folks

Been a while since I posted a mini on here......I\'ve one or two more to post in the near future...........

This is one of those AT-43 pieces......I liked them when I saw them, but like many was gutted when I heard they were prepaints. Covered in mould lines, the plastic is a little soft and needed carving more than scraping to clean him up, but I got most of it in the end.

that looks great man. one thing that I think could be improved is a little more contrast on the goggle lens to help it stand out a little more. voted also:beer: why can\'t those people in china paint them like this the first time?lol

Great work on this - what a step up, I can\'t get over the transformation! Out of curiosity, did you strip before repainting or just overpaint?

I do like the repaint, although I really don\'t like the weapon sculpt. I also like the pose.

lol you been living in a cave? This is from Rackhams AT-43 line. Prepainted sci-fi.
