OK Borg is going to kill me for this but he\'ll have to come over from the States first :D

Looking around on the net the other day for an air compressor for an airbrush I came across THIS SITE the link is for a boxed set of 72 Vallejo Model colour paints with 3 brushes and the carry case and yes the price is correct £99.99 with free deklivery.

I had an e-mail from them yesterday to say it was dispatched and I recieved the whole lot this morning :D:flip::D 72 of the most popular colours including varnishes and thinners in a snazzy plastic carry case with foam inserts to hold it all in :D

If you navigate the site they also do the full range of model colour and model air colour as well as loads of other goodies without the tax man and post office hitting you for extra costs besides shipping costs when ordering from outside Europe.

No I do not work for them I just thought a few more of the UK painters might like to know of these people

And on a side note if you ask them questions via e-mail they usually get back to you within 24 hours unlike some companies who I am still waiting to hear from.

Nice Find!!!

probably the most complete site for general modelling I\'ve seen in a long while! Rackham too! Cheaper than other online retailers too!

gonna be spending some time browsing and trying not to click too much!

cheer for that

@War Griffon, who on earth named a city or a town Larne, seriously lollol

It is ok. I am not at all upset. *slips into ninja suit and gets on the plane to UK* If you have a good find, share it, that is what CMON is all about. Just don\'t make a habbit of pointing people to other sites on everything that we sell here. Just use common sense. Understand that the CMON shop does not discount. Its purpose is not to be a super high volume discount store, or to compete with other on-line stores, but rather a boutique that carries products that is essential to the hobby or hard to find. It will never offer massive discounts of any kind.

*gets off plane, double checked War Griffon\'s address, disappears into the shadows*

Larne was obviously named by the Irish who but themselves understand their motives :D

Borg not a problem I fully understand your point of view and I fully appreciate your efforts with the CMON Shop I have used the shop on numerous occassions and intend to use it again very soon for some of the Freebooter new stuff.

I find the CMON Shop excellent service and ordered in small quantities to avoid the extra cost its not a problem.

I knew from previous threads that some of the UK members want lots and when you add to the price a Post office handling charge of £15 plus whatever customs charge us on the package that seriously dents our spending money. To give you an idea I bought 2 Solar wind models last year for $105.00 plus handling and shipping when they got to me I had to pay the post office handling charge plus customs fee and that put an extra £36 on the cost :(

I am more than happy and do use the CMON Shop and always will for small quantities of what I can\'t get over hear.

Martyn.

Hey Griffon, just for you particularly, there\'s a place in Royal Arcade, Cardiff, that does one batch of Vallejos for historics. It\'s the old Blackstones book shop, and they\'ve got loads of military stuff in there. Near the counter at the back is a whole rack of the buggers. Might also be worth a look!

Rev which one is Royal Arcade is that the one by the Brewery or the one by Burger King that splits in two opposite the castle and the shop is Cardiff Games or something like that?

It\'s the one on St Mary Street. You have Morgan Arcade and Royal Arcade next to each other. In the middle they link up with a little lane and it\'s more or less on that corner going from Morgan Arcade to Royal Arcade.
