I obviously need to reconfigure my pop-up blocker, but...

I just went to ESPN.com to check some baseball scores, and not only did I get an annoying pop-up - it was frickin\' full-screen! What the....? Anyone else come across this - I had not seen or heard of this before.

Well, of course now when I go back there is no trace of that particular pop-up, but I think it had a \"close\" button that came up - after a few seconds so that you have to see the pop-up whether you like it or not. Time to get a new pop-up blocker if the one I have is letting this stuff through :)

I\'m downloading firefox right now.

I think from what I have heard and read, Firefox seems to be the better alternative to IE.

I agree that Firefox is much better than IE. Just try it and you will forget about IE very fast :) I have Firefox for about 3 months and now I cant imagine how I could use IE.
